Program Host Genetics for Healthcare Podcast

I have over 20 years of leadership experience launching new and innovative diagnostic and software products that have accelerated the adoption of precision medicine. Over this time I’ve gained a deep understanding of the genetic and genomic needs of cancer patients and how the healthcare system workflow can either hinder or help them gain access to these valuable insights that could save or extend lives. I’ve used my experience to create new products and strategies to solve challenges associated with patient access to precision medicine. I earned a Certificate of Specialization in Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online by researching the immense potential of genetics to transform healthcare. My work focused on how genetics can improve treatment outcomes, enable early disease detection and cures, eliminate chronic diseases, and prevent illnesses for future generations. I’m also an IFC-certified leadership and executive coach, helping companies in the precision medicine space drive adoption of innovative products and services faster, while advancing health equity across the healthcare system.

Redefining Engagement: Trust, Technology, and Transformation

11:20 AM Keynote: Precision Medicine at the Tipping Point: How AI, Social Media and Geopolitics is Bringing Cure and Prevention Within Reach

The convergence of three powerful market forces is turning precision medicine into a mainstream conversation. AI is transforming real-world data into actionable insights at point-of-care. Empowered patients are reshaping demand for precision medicine, and global political pressure is accelerating investment for greater patient access to genomics, bringing cure and prevention for cancer and rare diseases within reach in our generation.

  • Embedding AI where decisions happen—at the point of care, not just in analytics.
  • Designing precision medicine with patients, using real-world and social data to shape demand.
  • Riding geopolitical momentum by aligning genomics strategy with national policy and funding priorities.
  • Moving the value story from treating disease to preventing it at population scale.
