Cecil has spent his career in sales, management and learning & development.  He is currently Director, Commercial Sales Leadership Development for the North America Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson (Janssen). 

He is considered a strategic, innovative, results-focused leader.  Under his direction, his team has developed a new Management Development Curriculum for emerging people leaders, new and tenured District Managers and Business Directors.  Examples of his vision and creativity are innovative programs such as: the Janssen Business Challenge, a cross-organization, project-based, action-learning program for high performing sales Region Business Directors - the outcome is a solution to a current, urgent organization-wide business problem; the Leadership Theatre, where participants audition for the role of leader at Johnson and Johnson; and  the Centocor Ortho Biotech Community Action Learning Program to develop cross-functional high performing leaders within the organization by being a consultancy for a community organization merging personal and professional development with a commitment to community.  The program won an company sponsored Innovation Award to implement.
